Sarasota Dove Release Policy

We release only pure white homing pigeons that have been properly cared for and trained for up to 100 miles. We will come to your event in appropriate attire. Our handlers are all well trained, experienced and knowledgeable with releases.

We will not release our birds in heavy rain, fog, high wind, or any other acts of nature, with the safety of our birds coming first and foremost. Cancellations due to acts of God will be refunded 100%. If these conditions should occur at time of service (after arrival and set up), 25% will be retained. We reserve the right to determine the safety and to cancel, if necessary, at time of release.

Delay of 1/2 hour or more will be charged an additional $50 per hour.

Birds will not be released at night or indoors. Our birds must be released in daylight hours, with ample time (at least an hour and half, additional time to be determined by distance and handler at time of release) to return home before sunset. If your release is delayed past the cut off time, you will forfeit your release and your entire amount paid.

In addition, there are to be no other birds or balloons released until our birds are out of harm's way.
